Blessingway — a blessing for birth

The Blessingway ritual is a special ancient ceremony created to celebrate and support expectant mothers before birth. Originating from Navajo culture, its aim is to strengthen women’s community bonds and support a natural birth experience. During the ritual, participants perform various symbolic acts such as lighting candles, singing, and offering positive affirmations to the mother-to-be.

I recommend it to every expectant mother who would like to make a baby celebration truly special. Everyone the mother would like to invite (relatives, friends) can take part. It’s best held around week 37 of pregnancy at a location of your choice (at home, indoors, or outdoors).
