Mother, woman, wife and doula

My professional path started at international companies, where I worked for many years in HR consulting. I met a wide range of people and company cultures; problem-solving, adapting to different situations, communication, mapping motivation, and supporting job-search journeys were part of my everyday life. More recently, my family and I lived in Prague for four years, where I chose to complete an English-language coaching program so I could expand and deepen my consulting work. When I became pregnant with my first child, inspired by my holistic perspective, I began to explore pregnancy and birth more deeply. The traumatic imprint of my own birth story resurfaced strongly and shaped my ideas about bringing my daughter into the world. I felt a strong need for individualized, supportive care in preparation and during birth, so I sought out a doula. Thanks to her presence, the birth became a deeply moving spiritual experience. This stayed with me for a long time, and I felt an increasingly strong calling to support mothers and families as a companion through the processes connected to birth.

This is what led me to doula training, during which my conviction grew day by day that I had found my vocation. I felt complete certainty during my first birth support experience, when I could witness the miracle of a beautiful, undisturbed birth.

After that, I studied massage therapy; my specialization became pregnancy massage, and I complemented my knowledge with aromatherapy.
